RPSC Recruitment 2024 – 2202 Vacancies for Lecturer & Coach Posts

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for 2202 vacancies in the Secondary Education Department. The application process, which started on November 5, 2024, will close on December 4, 2024.

This recruitment includes 2159 Lecturer positions and 43 Coach (School Education) positions. The Lecturer positions are available in 24 subjects, with the highest number of vacancies in Hindi (350 posts), followed by Commerce (340 posts), English (325 posts), Political Science (225 posts), Geography (210 posts), Mathematics (153 posts), and Physics (147 posts). There are also 409 vacancies for various other subjects.

In addition, the Coach positions are available in different sports categories, with the maximum number of vacancies (37) for Physical Education. Other sports coaching positions include Football Coach (3), Wrestling Coach (1), Kho-Kho Coach (1), and Hockey Coach (1).

Educational Qualification:

  • Lecturer: Master’s degree in the relevant subject and a B.Ed./D.El.Ed diploma is required.
  • Coach: Qualification depends on the specific sport category.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
  • Age relaxation is provided as per the Rajasthan Government rules for reserved categories.

Application Fee:

  • General/Other State Candidates: ₹600
  • OBC/BC/SC/ST Candidates (Rajasthan): ₹400

Selection Process:

  • The selection will be based on a written exam.

Salary:

The salary for these positions will be according to Pay Matrix Level-12, as per the Rajasthan Government norms.

  2. Choose Citizen App (G2C) and then select Recruitment Portal.
  3. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR). For first-time registration, you’ll need to provide:
    • Your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender.
    • Secondary or Equivalent Exam details.
    • An ID proof like Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
  4. After completing the registration, log in using your OTR number and apply online for the desired post.
  5. Once you’ve completed the form, make the payment and submit your application.
