Bihar State Health Society (SHS) has announced recruitment for 2619 AYUSH doctors. The application process has started from 1st December 2024. This recruitment is based on a contractual basis.

  • AYUSH Doctor (Ayurvedic): 1411 posts
  • AYUSH Doctor (Homeopathic): 706 posts
  • AYUSH Doctor (Unani): 502 posts

Educational Qualifications:

  • AYUSH Doctor (Ayurvedic):
    • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognized university included in the Indian Medical Central Council list, New Delhi.
    • Internship training completed.
    • Registration with the Bihar Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council, Patna.
  • AYUSH Doctor (Homeopathic):
    • BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognized university included in the Central Homeopathic Council, New Delhi.
    • Internship training completed.
    • Registration with the Bihar Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council, Patna.
  • AYUSH Doctor (Unani):
    • BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognized university included in the Central Homeopathic Council, New Delhi.
    • Internship training completed.
    • Registration with the Bihar Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council, Patna.

Age Limit:

  • Unreserved Category (Male): 21 – 37 years
  • Backward Classes/EBC: 21 – 40 years
  • Unreserved Category (Female): 21 – 40 years
  • SC/ST: 21 – 42 years

Salary:

  • ₹32,000 per month
